Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo for 2015 {free printable}

Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo for 2015

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is not that far off?!?

I started making parade day bingo cards for my kids a few years ago to keep them busy while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade with my mom at her nursing home. Even though my mom is gone now, I'm keeping up this tradition.

Besides the regular cast of Santa, Tom the Turkey, and the larger than life balloons, here are the new performers that have been added to the cards this year.

5 Reasons to Break Up with Candy Crush

5 Reasons to Break Up with Candy Crush

It has been six weeks, three days, and several hours since the last time I played Candy Crush.

That addictive, time killing, mind suck, has been a blessing and a curse. It distracted me when I needed alone time in a room full of people and calmed me as I waited in line at BMV. Plus, it's fun and challenging.

I knew it was time for me to give it up when my legs fell asleep while sitting on the toilet, long after I had finished, and I still could not move off the level I was playing.

If you are wondering if it is time for you to give up this sweet addiction - let me help!

Thanksgiving is coming!

Not my favorite of holidays but last year I started a new tradition - Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo! I've updated the bingo cards with new balloons and a few new entertainers for 2014.

Make the Parade More Interesting: Play Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo

Free Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo

It's Thanksgiving week!  Time to be with family and friends, eat ourselves into a coma and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade.

Updated for 2015!

I'm going to share a little secret with you - I have not made Thanksgiving dinner since 2005. It's not because we go to relatives' houses because we don't. It's because the Husband makes dinner. Well, he makes all of the side dishes and we buy the turkey from a ham store.

I want to share another secret. I think the Thanksgiving parade is boring. I buy into it every year. The parade watches me the last few years as I have it playing in the background. I have lovely memories of watching the parade, but I don't think I've ever watched it with the kids.

I was thinking about all those Thanksgiving Day parades we've watched today while talking to my mom on the phone. Since it will be just me and the kids this year, I decided to join my mom to watch the parade.

My mom lives in a nursing home and they can only 'visit' for so long until they are complaining about being bored. I had to make the parade more interesting.

I remember seeing a parade bingo on Pinterest, but I did not pin it! I had no other choice, but to make my own bingo.

I'm probably violating all kinds of copyright laws but, they turned out great.

There are ten bingo cards for the parade and are updated yearly, so even if you found this post the link will still take you to an updated version.

Fingers crossed it keeps them busy at grandma’s on Thursday.

Word(less) Wednesday: The Difference Between My Sister and Me

soon to be grandma's crazy good cake
Don't you just love the games they make you play at baby showers...

My sister, full time nurse and author with adult children...

And then mine, misspellings and all...

Our niece (or as she will be called shortly Grandma), was so sure we would not play (with good reason) she did not even come to our table.  I feel one of us would have won.

How would have you answered some (or all) of these?
