I went. I marched.
And, it was the proudest I've felt for my country since November.
There were singing and chanting. There were signs and speeches. There was a whole lot of standing and waiting. I was too far to hear the speeches, but it was amazing just to be present. There was a community marching together. And, there was hope. Women gathered in sisterhood all over the world. Men, too. It was an amazing and beautiful day.
Struggling to be part of the moment and wanting to capture it all was hard. But, here are a few photos that I took that are my favorite.
Marching isn't enough.
On Tuesday, January 24th, MoveOn members are joining with Working Families Party, People's Action and other allies across the country to rally Democratic and Republican senators with a clear message: "Stop the #SwampCabinet." Find a rally in your area.
