Can you believe that it's cookie season again!? Girl Scouts of North East Ohio is ready!

This is my Dasiy's second year in the Girl Scouts. This week, a Brownie troop about to advance is hosting a tea party for her Daisy troop to give them insight on being a Brownie. Where has all the time gone?!

Well, before she looks into the pond or crosses the bridge, she has cookies to sell. Not that's hard. They pretty much sell themselves.

Selling cookies are an important tradition in Girl Scouts. The money that comes back to her troop allows them to pay for dues and field trips. They also use the money to help in the community.

After 100 years of baking cookies, Girl Scouts finally introduced the S'mores cookies.

S'mores are a campfire tradition! It stands to reason that a cookie would be made. I was skeptical at first. I love me some thin mints. And, I don't care much for marshmallows.  But, these crunchy, chocolatey, marshmallowy goodies are not too sweet or gooey.

These scrumptious cookies are made with cane sugar and responsibly-sources ingredients. And, you won't find artificial colors, preservatives, or high-fructose corn syrup in these or any of the other flavors of cookies. In fact, all of the cookies are also RSPO Mixed Certified, no partially hydrogenated oil, and no grams of trans fat. Plus, there are no artificial flavors in the Do-si-dos, Toffee-tastics (gluten free!). and of course S'mores!

Our girls are to learning to run their own businesses. They set goals as a team, learn to manage money, and even marketing skills. Girl Scouts learn the value of working with others and business ethics.

Girls all over are taking orders right now. Come March, they'll be out in front of stores. If you are looking for a cookie sale check out their website. Better yet, grab the app so you never miss a cookie booth. And, pick up a box of these delicious cookies! You'll be asking for some more so stock up.

Download the official Girl Scout Cookie Finder on Apple and Android, or visit girlscoutcookies.org to find a booth in your neighborhood.

What cookies will you be dunking in your milk?
