Looking Back on December

I‘m blown away that Christmas is coming to a close. Well, until next week when we celebrate Orthodox Christmas with my sister but that is another blog post. It seems like just yesterday we were preparing for Thanksgiving and making sweet potato pie. But isn't that the case every year? It feels like Christmas will never come and then it is over.

I have been itching to take down our Christmas tree since the day after and I am not usually like that. I usually like to keep it up the twelve days but this year, I am ready to pack it up.

So, instead of packing up our tree I decided to take a look back at what we did in December.

Thanks to Super Saturdays at the Beck I learned that baby girl is really into crafts.

The kids and I had lunch with Santa at the local pizza joint with friends and the kids were way more into the pizza guy tossing pizzas then Santa.

We ended the night at Light up Lakewood, watching the parade, drinking lots of free hot cocoa and seeing Santa, again.

I may have one a $100 Target card from the Today show because of this photo...

Had some fun in my office by setting up hot cocoa bars...

The annual cookie party was a success and this year we added a photo area booth area and a hot chocolate bar...

... but the cookies are always the star of the show!

Baby girl had free range of the sprinkles and went to town on the gingerbread men.

And of course, GLOW at the Cleveland Botanical Garden was a treat!

It was a busy but wonderful month as I hope yours was too.
