Ohio in November! Could be snow or it could be sunny and 70 degrees - you never really know until it is upon us! We did so much in October that I am actually looking forward to a weekend or two of mindless TV watching.
OH(io) who am I kidding?
There are just too many fun things to do! I have scoured the world wide web to bring all the things that the kids and I would do if we had unlimited time and money. This is not a complete list, just things we like and by "we" I mean me. Some are free, most are not, but all are guaranteed* to be good fun.
Don't forget to check out the calendar at the bottom, the pinterest board and now *drum roll* a page dedicated to Northeast Ohio so you can see what I am adding as I add it (or in case you forgot to bookmark this fantastic post).

Children's Theater Series Workshop: Me and My Shadow @PlayhouseSquare Saturday, November 2, 2013 (click to see times, there are three chances to go)
We have never done this and probably won't be able to this time around but it just sounds so cool. Kids get to express themselves using their shadows as props and its only $5!
Gingerbread House Family Workshop @Cleveland Botanical Garden Saturday, November 9 1-3 PM
Probably the most expensive but also the coolest on the list and you can enter your creation in the Gingerbread Competition on display during this year's Glow at the Garden. (psst - I was a judge last year).
Second Sundays @Cleveland Museum of Art November 10 11 am–4 pm
What better way to spend a Sunday but at the art museum?
Fun on the Farm: Western Reserve Historical Society** @WRHS Fun on the Farm Abraham Lincoln and the Thanksgiving Story November 16, 2013 – 10:30 am
Based on the book Thank You, Sarah: The Woman Who Saved Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving at the Zoo @Cleveland Metroparks Zoo November 28, 2013 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. FREE for everyone!
I sort f feel bad about this one since the zoo keepers and ticket takers should be home with their families but since they will be there anyway...
Winterfest's holiday magic is taking over the streets of Downtown Cleveland on November 30th, 2013
What started as an evening event has become an all day festival! It starts at 1 PM and runs past the lighting of Public Square. You should also wander over to the Old Arcade. They have actors portraying famous Clevelanders and a fantastic Santa!
