Because, I am Twelve Again - Call Me, Maybe

Apparently, I've reverted to a twelve year old girl, or at least whenever I hear the song Call Me, Baby.

It started innocently enough.  I co-worker of mine mentioned on Facebook about this catchy tune she could not get out of her head.  Since, I only listen to music on my iPod from my teenage years, I had no clue what she was talking about so naturally I Googled it and came across this video...

Even though I am stuck in the 1990's musically, I am very current on the shows on Nickelodeon, especially Big Time Rush (I may have mentioned this once or twice).  They are so damn good looking!

Anyway... as you may imagine, I was pretty excited to see, in this video, members of Big Time Rush (and other reportedly famous teen stars), mainly because I am a twelve year old girl and because they are all acting like I would imagine I would be acting if I was a twelve year old girl living in a Hollywood mansion, with famous friends and access to video equipment.

Mind you it was not until yesterday that I actually saw the original video and I think I may even like the song more now.  I also took a minute to find out who Carly Rae Jepsen is and why she has so many famous friends.  Turns out, she placed third in the fifth season of Canadian Idol (who knew?) and some guy named Justin Bieber signed her to his music label.  Don't quote me because I was not really comprehending what I was reading on Wikipedia.

A few weeks later I came upon this video...

Of course, you have probably seen this already because there are over 6,000,000 views and I think I added about 1,000 views to it because I can not stop watching these boys from Harvard.  At least I feel I have graduated from twelve year old girl to college age.  It is because of this video I am writing this and honestly why I like the song and even added it to my iTunes collection.  My husband is going to make fun of me from now till the nursing home but believe me I will still be watching this video.

I also really believe that the boy in the end, who looks directly at the camera and winks is winking at me so - back off girls.

The same friend sent me this after I published my post....

Go Chardon!!!

And these girls have the best twist! Way to turn the tables, ladies.
