The Busy Mom Weight Loss Checklist + #alliInMyLife

In the spring, I started making #FattoFit a reality in my life.

It started with a trip to the YMCA and I haven't looked back. I try to work out 30 minutes a day, five days a week and log every bite I eat. Cutting back on calories, carbs, and fat has been hard but not as hard as some of the other diets I've tried.

I must admit, I don’t feel like I’m dieting anymore. I’m eating better and getting stronger. Losing weight is a bonus. A huge bonus!

The first two months I was losing a little each week. And then, the scale stopped moving. Luckily, I have before measurements. So while the scale wasn't moving, my waist has been.

Tip: Take before measurements. Better way to gauge results.

Just because of my waist, bust, hips, and calves are smaller, I still want to see the scale move. With all the temptations of the summer, I knew that getting back on track this fall would mean extra help. Tools to help get past this plateau and back into a routine.

Despite logging my food choices, it helps me to have something to see that’s not on a computer screen. A checklist that I can use to remind me to make better choices, every day.

I created a weekly checklist (download it here) to make sure that I’m staying on track. As important as it is to eat three healthy meals and a snack, it's also necessary to drink plenty of water and get enough sleep. My checklist ensures that I keep to a routine and has space to make weekly goals, short notes, and track my mood.

I even added alli® Weight Loss Capsules to my routine.

Before taking the first capsule, actually, before even going to Target, I downloaded the alli® weight loss aid start-up guide from Myalli.com.

I learned that alli® weight loss aid is the only FDA-approved over-the-counter weight loss aid available. It blocks 25% of the fat you eat from being absorbed by your body*. This does not mean you can eat whatever you want. Limiting fat and calories is still just as important. Exercise, too!
While I was on the website, I signed up for alli® weight loss aid updates and was emailed a $10 off coupon!
I’m a candidate for alli® weight loss aid. I fall on the obese scale with a BMI over 25, I’m well over 18 years old, and I’m not pregnant or breastfeeding. Besides, I’ve already been limiting my calorie and fat intake. So, off to Target, I went to pick up a bottle of alli® weight loss aid, as well as a multivitamin.

The hardest part about adding alli® weight loss aid to my routine has been remembering to take the multivitamin at bedtime. Strange, I know but, I usually take my vitamins in the morning. Remembering to take the capsule with my meal is pretty easy.

Once I decided to add alli® weight loss aid to my weight loss program, I used the tool on their website to determine my Meal Target. The Meal Target will help to maximize weight loss results*.

There are four levels based on gender, activity level, and weight. I’m a four. This means I can have no more than 19 grams of fat a meal and 3 grams of fat for a snack to achieve best results. Since I’m already eating a low-calorie, low-fat diet, I was able to start taking alli® weight loss aid right away. Everything else fell into place.

Now for the big sharing moment. My before photo.

Before #alliInMyLife photo

My weight on day one of alli® - 241.6 pounds. My waist is 42 inches, hips 48.75, and my bust is 44 inches. I’ve been averaging less than a pound a week over the last three months, losing 3.5 inches on my waist. I have 65 pounds to lose to meet my first big goal. Stay tuned to follow my journey.
