Dare to Win Big with UnitedHeathcare

Dare to Win Big with UnitedHeathcare @myUHC
I have received compensation for this conversation. All opinions are my own.

Spring has sprung! And, so have my allergies. I also find that the kids get hurt more in the spring. I guess it's all those months cooped up in the house that they aren't as careful when they play outside.

When seeing a doctor or needing emergency care, I know our family has coverage. We have a health insurance plan from my job. Understanding our coverage is not always simple. But, learning about health care plans can save money.

UnitedHeathcare aims to take the confusion out of health insurance plans. UHC is using games, or dares, to educate us about insurance. Best part, we have a chance to win prizes. Each month is a new set of dares and new opportunities to win.

The three dares are Test Your Smarts, See and Sound Off, and Concentration. Each dare has the potential to win a grand prize of $400 pre-paid gift cards each month. There are also weekly prizes for each dare of $25 pre-paid gift cards. Take more dares for extra entries.

Taking the dares is addictive. Full disclosure, UHC is not my insurance company. But, I have learned quite a bit about insurance plans. A few of the quiz questions are about UHC, but most aren't.

The See + Sound video is short but informative. The Concentration game may be the hardest of the dares, but it is hardly difficult. You can also share your results for extra entries. Not into sharing? You can also read articles or watch videos for extra chances. All in all, this is a fun way to learn about general insurance plans.

The health care system is complex. Knowing that an insurance company is willing to go to these measures to educate is impressive. They are not just looking out for their members, but anyone who wants to learn more.

Are you ready to take the UnitedHeathcare Dare?
