I have been inspired the last few months by a blogger who has written about her weight loss journey and as I read it I thought, "I'm not going to write about that! Way too personal!"
But, as I read about Earl-Leigh's transformation I realized that maybe, I could do it, too. Not write about it, but actually making the changes that are so necessary.
And then, something changed in me. I've changed my eating habits, started a workout program, and I have gotten a few reviews that are weight loss oriented. I even won a basket at auction for healthy living filled with work out stuff, beauty products, and a free month at a 30 minute, ladies gym.
Its as if the universe is saying - "Hey, fattie! Get off the couch!"
So here I am, only two weeks in and sharing way more about my issues with weight than I have in the four years I have been blogging.
I am a binge eater. I don't purge. I have an appetite of pregnant me. I am not pregnant. Obesity runs in my family. I can go years eating right and exercising, just to get comfortable, slack off, gain weight, and start the process all over again. I am at the start of the process.
Since I am quickly approaching the big 4-0, this has to stick now. I am making an action plan and sharing it with the world wide web.

Be accountable
I am doing this in three ways. My husband who is my partner in this, fatsecret.com, and posting this action plan here on my blog. I may check in from time to time but more likely it will be on twitter or facebook but especially fatsecret. That is where I log my food and now that I have my fabulous new scale, I keep track of my weight.Plan my meals
I usually take my lunch to work but now they are healthier meals with lots of fruits, veggies and healthy snacks.Drink more water
I have cut out soda from my diet which was surprisingly easy and trying yo drink more water than coffee.Move, move, move
I have a job that keeps me on my ass but it does not have to be all day. I need to get out of the office in addition to working out to my infomercial workout program every morning.Control my appetite
I am hungry all. of. the. time. When I saw an opportunity to review Skinny Burn - appetite suppressant supplement for womenIt has been a week now and I am not hungry, nor angry. I have stayed under my calorie allotment and I am not hungry (that is worth mentioning several times). Not hungry or angry. Not to mention, the pills smell sort of nice. They are big but no awful aftertaste I expect from these things. The even smell like raspberries.
I have spend hundreds of dollars on doctors appointments and supplements over the last ten years trying to find something that will take my constant hunger away and I think I may have found it.
I won't make a claim that the weight I've lost using these are solely because I started taking Skinny Burn. I have been counting calories and working out and, I am not hungry. Not hungry! They also did not make me jittery. I am a coffee drinker, an all day coffee drinker, but I take two capsules first thing in the morning with a great big glass of water and have my first cup of about 9:00 AM. No headache and no jitters, just blissfully not hungry.
How do you keep from being hungry or hangry?
Included in my Dads, Grads, and Everyone in between giveaway package will be $20 off Skinny Burn. Tune in on June 5th to enter to win!
