My little girl really enjoys reading but what my three year old loves is looking at he own self. I have debated about getting her a book that she "stars" in but I only remembered the ones from my childhood that were sort of cheap looking and had thin paper pages.

She is tough on books; she is three so wasting spending money on a book that won't stand up to her frequent use is just silly. And, since it will have her picture in it I know she would want to read it, often.

I was recently asked to do a review for 1-2-3 Blast Off with Me from I See Me Personalized Books. And, by recently I think it has been about two months. I should have posted this sooner but the problem is not with the company or the book but with my daughter.

She carries it everywhere and if she is not with it then she has left it the last place she has taken it which is usually the sitters. I can never seem to have the book and her together when I have my camera. She loves to look at this book and loves to be read this book.

I wish I had recorded her as she flipped the pages of this book for the first time. Then again maybe not since I would be paying more attention to the camera then watching her eyes light up every time she turned the page to see her face in some new outfit. From driving a tractor to riding a train she was amused with each and every page.

She loves to trace the letters of her name on each page and count along when there are numbers; pointing to letters as we read. She is fascinated and delighted with this book and I could not be more impressed.

From the moment I opened the box and held the book in my hand I knew it was something special. For one, it is not an over-sized book; it is the perfect size for little hands to hold. Secondly and most importantly the pages are thick and you just know toddlers and preschoolers were in mind when this book was designed.


I am so pleased with the final product that I have been showing this book to everyone. I may even order one for my son this Christmas.
