@AstroBrightsFun, Colorful, Creative, Fun and a Sweepstake

This post brought to you by Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper. All opinions are 100% mine.
Remember back to those days of making paper chains and flowers?  I loved art class and loved making those the best.  Bending, creasing and manipulating pieces of brightly colored paper to do my biding was pure joy when I was in school and then later with my own kid.

The best paper to use has always been AstroBrights.  I love the colors and that they are dyed through so your don't see white when you crease the paper.  I guess when you offer 23 different colors you must know what you are doing.

AstroBrights is now a staple in our household and in my son's classroom.  As room mom, I love to use them when making flyers to send home to parents.  You better believe a parent is not going to miss "Lift Off Lemon" sticking out of the kid's back pack when I need to have them bring something to the next class party!

What is really cool is that the AstroBrights people, to show their devotion to schools, are having a "Give a Brighter Year" sweepstakes.  Couldn't your local elementary school use a cash prize and school supplies valued at $30,000!?!  Enter once a week from now until September 9, 2012!
While at Astrobrights on Facebook, check out the "Make Something Astrobright" design challenge!  I wish I was creative enough to come up with a craft, but alas, I'm not.  They do offer you a challenge (right now it is paper flowers) and you can get great ideas from their Pinterest page.

I might not be able to come up with clever ideas but I sure can get inspiration from what others do and add my own twist to it.  Maybe, just maybe, I'll have to break out  the scissors and tape and make some of my own flowers.  I think I will try my hand at sunflowers.

What will you do?  Join in the fun and share your creations (don't forget to use the hashtag #goastrobrights)
